So for clarity - you think it harms the learning of children for them to have to look at something on their phone in class or home PC rather than having it put up on a white board? A cartoon image. What are they going to discuss, it's not an art class, it's the principle of the issue not the beautiful shading around the eyes or the type of HB pencil used.
I'm not talking about his RIGHT to do something. I'm talking about whether it's wise and whether it makes any difference to the learning of the children in that class.
Even from when I was at school in the late 90's, the majority of the pictures of religious "gods" were cartoon, not offensively drawn - just cartoons. Which we discussed in great detail the differences with each religion.
What has happened here is no different, but Muslims(a lot by the looks of it) seem to be highly offended. 1 Muslim on LBC said people love the prophet more than their own mum or dad. Utterly bonkers.
The teacher wasn't doing anything offensive at all, we're just in a phase where Muslims are literally offended by anything, but fail to condemn their own performing acts of terror against innocent people.

Its a lot to do with understanding the various states of perception that exist within Islam and its place in the current world (as they see it).
Dar al Islam, Dar al Harb and Dar al Salaam and there are more.
